Nine classes are available. There are diverse areas of study and ages represented in each. It has been a Highland Park tradition for many years that new comers are encouraged to "shop around" and experience several different classes before making a decision. Visitors are always welcome! All Senior Adults are invited to travel with us to Sumter for a relaxing tour of the gardens and lunch at the Iris Market.

Cost: $10/person (includes transportation, tour of gardens, and lunch at Iris Market). Make checks payable to HPUMC.

No Senior Luncheons this summer. We will resume in September.

Highland Park Kindergarten operates as a part of the educational ministry of the church. We offer a half-day program for three, four, and five year old children. We teach appropriate pre school and kindergarten concepts in a fun, loving environment while stressing socialization skills and a Christian atmosphere. Class hours are from 9:00am to 12 noon for three and four year-olds; 8:00 am to 12 noon for 5K. Learning takes place with the guidance of exceptional teachers. 3K classes are limited to ten students per class and choose from our 2 day, 3 day, or 5 day program. 4K classes are limited to 12 students/class with a choice of our 3 day or 5 day classes. We have one 5K class limited to 16 students. The 5K class also has a teacher's aide. Children entering our program must be the appropriate age on or before September 1 of the school year and be potty-trained. Several Bible studies are available.

Periodically we offer short and long term Diciple Bible Studies.

We also periodically offer Companions in Christ Bible Study.

Adults have some Sunday Schools with focused Bible Study, as well as Men's groups and Women's groups.
